Film Screening - Small Town Gay Bar

Please join us for a screening of "Small Town Gay Bar" on Tuesday, May 29 at 7 p.m. in the community room at RHAC, 186 King Street, London.

"Small Town Gay Bar" is a 2006 documentary by famed film producer, Kevin Smith (Chasing Amy, Clerks). The film explores gay bars and establishments throughout the bible belt, and shows how many bar owners are responsible for more than just a good time.

A discussion will follow the screening.

Women's Support Group

The women’s group at RHAC is a monthly social group designed specifically for women living with HIV. The group addresses some of the issues that come with social isolation by providing a safe, non-judgemental and friendly environment to women where they can share their stories, successes and struggles as women living with the virus. The group is coordinated and facilitated by Miriam Rivera and Keri Wheatley - both staff members of Regional HIV/ AIDS Connection.

The hepatitis C Peer Social will be held on every Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. It will be held in the Community Room on the 2nd floor of Regional HIV/AIDS Connection, 186 King St., London.
