Open Closet

Open Closet is a group for youth from the six counties we serve (Perth, Huron, Oxford, Elgin, Middlesex and Lambton) who are between 14 and 18 years of age and who identify as either gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (LGBT), or who may be questioning their sexual orientation.The group has been in existence since early 2002, serving approximately 1,100 youth. Open Closet is one of the more successful queer youth groups in Southwestern Ontario.

Women's Group

The Women’s Group is open to all women living with HIV/AIDS from the six counties we serve (Perth, Huron, Oxford, Elgin, Middlesex and Lambton). The group meets the last Thursday of every month from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at RHAC. This group was created to provide women who are HIV positive an opportunity to come together for support and connection. The relaxed atmosphere provides a safe place for women to gather to share conversation, and enjoy a variety of social and educational opportunities.

PHA Cafe

PHA Café is a social support group for people living with HIV/AIDS. The group is open to anyone living with HIV/AIDS from the six counties we serve (Perth, Huron, Oxford, Elgin, Middlesex and Lambton). The group takes place on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00-8:30 pm at RHAC, with occasional off-site events. Food is provided, and meetings consist of group discussion, films, occasional offsite social events, and guest speakers. This group is a safe space to share ideas and opinions, connect with other people, and have fun.
