Support from donors like you is critical to our success. Your dollars help us reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS on our community by helping us provide more effective services to more people in need.

To donate by phone, call 519-434-1601. We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express, and will be happy to help you make a one-time or monthly donation. Official tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.

Should you wish to honour a loved one or other special person, the AIDS Committee of London will be happy to send acknowledgement of your gift to the family.

Legacy Giving

By leaving a legacy through a gift in your will, you can help ACOL continue to make a difference in our community. If you decide to make a planned gift to the AIDS Committee of London (through a bequest, RRSP, Life Insurance or other planned giving options), you may do so by arranging it with us directly. Employee Donations

The AIDS Committee of London welcomes the efforts of all our business partners large and small, who foster the values of charity and community in their workplaces.

Ask your Human Resources department if your company has an Employee Giving Program. Employee Groups and Employee Giving Programs are unique to each company. Some companies allow you to deduct money right from your pay cheque to go to a charity of your choice, and may even match your gift with a donation of their own.

Corporate Giving

Our partners include corporations, faith communities, service clubs and many other groups. We’re happy to work with you on event sponsorship, including naming opportunities for special events and programs.

Help Us Raise Funds

Individual volunteers and groups are welcome to join in planning and organizing fundraising events, and many organize their own special events.

What is the AIDS Committee of London?

The AIDS Committee of London is a community-based, charitable organization providing HIV-related services to people living with and concerned about HIV/AIDS in London and area.

Our mandate is to:

  1. Improve quality of life for those living with & affected by HIV/AIDS
  2. Reduce the number of new HIV infections
  3. Increase community awareness about HIV/AIDS

Our service users include thousands of people: those living with HIV/AIDS, their partners, family & friends, and those who are concerned about HIV/AIDS - anyone at risk for HIV, and anyone who provides services to people with, or at risk for, HIV. All of our services are free and confidential.

Why is the AIDS Committee of London raising money?

All of our services at the AIDS Committee of London are completely free. Donations help us provide more of these programs and services, more effectively, to more people.

Do you subscribe to a donor bill of rights?

Yes, we have endorsed the 'Donor Bill of Rights' developed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Do you engage in selling or trading of donor contact lists?

We do not rent, sell, or trade our mailing lists or individual donor information.

What if I do not want to receive mail or phone calls?

Our standard is to issue a tax receipt for donation of $20.00 or more. We will issue tax receipts for smaller amounts if requested.
