A Taste For Life

Each year, A Taste for Life invites friends in the community to enjoy a dinner that makes a difference. Every meal at a participating restaurant contributes essential funds to our free client programs and services. A Taste for Life is made possible through the incredible support of participating restaurants, volunteers, staff, and sponsors.

This year's A Taste for Life event was held on April 25, 2018. Visit for the list of this years participating restaurants and check out our Facebook page for more photos of the event.

Red Scarf

The Red Scarf Project

The Red Scarf Project began in 2012 with the public installation of hundreds of red scarves in downtown London and Stratford by the staff and volunteers at Regional HIV/AIDS Connection. Every year since, scarves are knit and crochet by the local community and donated to RHAC in time for World AIDS Day on December 1. Since 2012, over 6,700 handmade scarves have been donated in support of the project. People in need of a little extra warmth are welcome to take the scarves, and read the attached information tag to spread its important message of HIV/AIDS awareness.

Red Scarf Benefit Concert

Every year, Regional HIV/AIDS Connection (RHAC) presents Red Scarf. Red Scarf is our annual benefit concert to mark AIDS Awareness Week, and lead up to World AIDS Day on December 1. The concert raises critical funds that will directly support people living with, at risk-for, or affected by HIV/AIDS.

Stay tuned for our announcement of Red Scarf's 2018 performing artist(s). Visit for more information.

To date Tachycardia has raised over $120,000 for programs and services at Regional HIV/AIDS Connection. Each year in early April, Medical students from Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry give back to London by donating the net proceeds from this three show production. For more information, visit the Tachycardia website. This fundraiser provides important funds for our  programs and support services for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and Open Closet, our weekly social support program for LGBT2Q youth.

We are grateful for the ongoing support of our community for helping to bring our fundraisers to life. For more info see how to get involved in fundrasising efforts, visit our Host an Event page.
