The Red Scarf Project
The Red Scarf Project began in 2012 with the public installation of hundreds of red scarves in downtown London and Stratford by the staff and volunteers at Regional HIV/AIDS Connection. Every year since, scarves are knit and crochet by the local community and donated to RHAC in time for World AIDS Day on December 1. People in need of a little extra warmth are welcome to take the scarves, and read the attached information tag to spread its important message of HIV/AIDS awareness.
