Read the summary report on the GLBTQ2S Health Forum (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Questioning and Two Spirited) that was held on November 23, 2006. We were fortunate to benefit from the expertise of a variety of guest panelists who kindly volunteered their time and skills to help bring focus to issues related to the physical, sexual, emotional/mental, addiction and spiritual wellness of our community. Panelists included; Cynthia Hirt M.Ed Counselling Psychology, Leanne Powell from the London Middlesex Health Unit (Sexual Health Unit), Reverend Greg Smith from Christ Anglican Church and Paul McCarty-Johnston, Cass Wender and Daniel Pugh from ACOL.

Gay Men’s HIV Prevention Strategy: Environmental Scan for Rural SW-Ontario (PDF 172KB)
This environmental scan identifies the strategies that other communities are using to reach rural MSM (men who have sex with men). The goal will help ACOL formulate a plan that will increase knowledge regarding HIV transmission and related issues and promote the adoption of harm reduction skills and practices amongst Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual and men who have sex with men in southwestern Ontario.
