First, and foremost, thanks so much for putting together a Team for AIDS Walk for Life London! 

You can register and collect pledges online, print our pledge forms, track your progress and email your friends. A team is a group of 2 or more people who choose to enjoy the Walk together. Team Walkers raise money like individual Walkers, by collecting pledges. In addition, the top three fundraising teams will receive a prize!

Historically, teams have come from all sectors of our community from corporations to small businesses, community organizations to schools to faith groups. Alternatively, many have chosen to gather a group of friends with their own personal reasons for walking. Teams account for the largest portion of total funds raised. We just couldn’t do it without you!

We encourage you to set your goals high, then aim above them. If you reach your goal early, set a new goal and keep “asking”.

Team Captains are critical to the spirit and success of this event. The Team Captains are responsible for assembling their team of walkers, discussing fundraising strategies and goals, and leading the way towards a successful walk on September 16th!

  • The team captain should register first as an individual (by clicking the “Pledge/Donate” button on your left) and clicking “Create Team” when you arrive at the screen following your confirmation screen.
  • The Web site will allow you to email invitations for others to join your team. If for any reason you cannot register online, email walkforlife@ aidslondon.com, or call 519.434.1601, for a Team registration kit, and Walker Registration forms.
  • These forms should then be faxed back to us at 519.434.1843, and we will register you at our office.

  • If your Team Captain has registered your Team online, you will receive an email from them, indicating how to go about signing on to the Team.

  • If your Captain cannot register online, you will be asked to fill out a Walker Registration form, which you should complete and return to your Team Captain, who will return it to our offices.
